Fisherman’s Terminal Fall Festival

Seattle has a real working fisherman’s wharf about 20 minutes from our house. It’s not a touristy area but a place where the North Pacific/Alaskan fishing fleet moors its vessels. It’s also home to some of the vessels seen on The Deadliest Catch, a show on the Discovery Channel. There was a fall festival there two weekends ago and we have photos to share with you.

Bumbershoot Photos

I am a few weeks behind since I’m writing about Bumbershoot – a music and arts festival that is held at Seattle Center over the Labour Day weekend.  We were very fortunate to have access to the Blue Room at the Experience Music Project (EMP). Someone Marc knows kindly offered us VIP passes for the day. The Blue Room was a private room overlooking Sky Church, one of the music stages at the venue. We used it to relax, watch some bands and get away from the crowds. Marshall seemed to enjoy watching the crowds. He did well considering this was his first concert/music festival. We met up with Josh and Kendra (pictured with Marshall) and wished them a good time as we left – they had tickets to all three days of the event.
